Topic: It’s Time for an Attitude Adjustment
Today’s Scripture: Philippians 4:6, (NLT) NEW LIVING TRANSLATION “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”
Massage: Many people ask us, “Why am I not receiving God’s best? My boss is mean, my house is old, and my spouse doesn’t treat me right. It doesn’t seem like my prayers are ever answered!” When people ask us that, we usually encourage them to look at what they just said. Perhaps the answer lies in your attitude.
Have you ever considered that maybe the Lord is waiting for you to be thankful for what you have before He will bless you with more?
The Word instructs us to pray with thanksgiving in every circumstance. Develop an “attitude of gratitude” and see what God will begin to do. He will take you places you’ve never dreamed, and you’ll live the abundant life He has in store for you.
Prayer for Today: Thank you, God, for the blessings you have given me. I can sit here and think of so many ways you have enriched my life. Always give me an “attitude of gratitude.” In Jesus’ name – Amen.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS: It’s a funny thing about life, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack. Big gratitude to God carries you to high altitude in life. Gratitude is one of the most powerful human emotions that’s honorable and acceptable before God. Well expressed GRATITUDE changes your ATTITUDE, and your good ATTITUDE changes your ALTITUDE. It brightens your outlook and broadens your perspective. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, you shall receive ability to demonstrate genuine gratitude to God. Any day and everyday above ground is a good day to thank God. You shall receive divine wisdom not to complain, but be thankful for your life, for the things that are still going well and those that are yet to go well in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
