DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM MERCYLAND MINISTRIES THURSDAY 28 JANUARY, 2021.
Topic: He Has Mercy
Today’s Scripture: Matthew 20:30, (NLT). “Two blind men were sitting beside the road. When they heard that Jesus was coming that way, they began shouting, ‘Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!'”
Message: Few people paid attention to those blind men sitting by the side of the road that day when Jesus passed by. No one gave them much of a chance – but Jesus did! Christ has such great compassion and mercy, and it’s important to remember He still has it today. Too many times, people see obstacles not destinations, and that keeps them from taking a chance and believing in this great mercy of God. When you have the faith and obedience to step out and trust Him like those blind men, then you open yourself up for His love and compassion. He rewards those who trust in Him. When you step out in faith, He will open doors for you and make your path straight.
Prayer for Today: God, thank You for Your great mercy and grace. With Your help, I want to step out and act on my faith, so that I may see Your great works! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS: The faith that delivers result is the faith that’s being backed up with some dynamic actions by you. Why? Because at both directions, expectations are involved. At your end, when you put some actions to your faith, that’s when it meets God’s expectation. At God’s end, expectation opens your inner eyes to see God’s faithfulness actively working on your faith actions, even when physical manifestations are yet to take place. In Jesus name, divine ability to have faith and obedience that will enable you to step out and trust God like the two blind men in today’s Bible verse is given to you. Understanding and awareness to know that Jesus Christ has such great compassion and mercy for your situation is released unto you. Spiritual inspiration shall give you enabling expectation that will create conducive environment for the miraculous in your life in the mighty name of Jesus . Amen.
