DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM MERCYLAND MINISTRIES WEDNESDAY 14 APRIL 2021.
Topic: Press Through.
Today’s Scripture: “Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you.” Matthew chapter 7 verse 7, (AMPC) AMPLIFIED CLASSIC EDITION.
Message: In Mark chapter five, there was a woman who had been sick for twelve years. The doctors gave her no hope. But, she heard that Jesus was passing through her town. Something deep down on the inside was saying, “This is your season. This is your time to get well.” In the natural, when she saw all the people around Jesus, she might have thought, “I’ll never get to Him. It’s so crowded and I’m weak.” She could have missed her season. But instead of dwelling on those negative thoughts, instead of looking at her situation, she started reminding herself, “If I can just get to Jesus, I will be whole.” She made the choice to turn her thoughts in the right direction and was empowered to take a leap of faith. She pressed through the crowd until she got just close enough to touch the edge of Jesus’ robe. Instantly, she was made whole.
Jesus said in Mark 5:34, “Daughter, your faith has made you well.” Notice it’s our faith that activates God’s power. We have to press through our thoughts, press through our circumstances, and press through the crowd and obstacles until we touch Him.
Prayer for Today: “Father, I come to You today with an open and humble heart. I ask You to fill me with Your strength, peace and joy so that I can press through to victory today. Show me the good plan You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Prophetic Declaration: Prayer that says: “Father, please increase my faith!” is a good place to start. The Bible in the book of Luke chapter 17 verse 5 says: “And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” Apostles asked and begged Jesus to increase their faith, you also can do the same. The woman in the Gospel according to Saint Mark chapter 5 verse 34, was able to seriously work on her faith. It is faith that determines how far we will go with God. Ability to press through in prayer is given to you. Divine wisdom that will enable you to use faith to relate with God adequately in all areas of your life is released unto you. Your season of answered prayer has come in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
JESUS SAID: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 (NIV). Are you ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ? Please give your life to Jesus.
