Topic: Pray for One Another.
Today’s Scripture: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed…” James chapter 5 verse 16, (NIV). NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION.
Message: All throughout scripture, we see that God’s system is based on the principle of sowing and reaping. If you sow blessing and mercy into the lives of others, that’s what you’ll reap in your life in return. The same thing happens when you pray for one another. There’s a spiritual dynamic at play when you get your mind off of yourself and onto others. You’re sowing a seed so that God can do something in your own life.
Is there someone in your life you can pray for? Maybe it’s a friend or a family member in need. They don’t have to be present. You can pray for them as you go about your day or even driving in your car on the way to work. It’s the connection of faith that opens the door for God to move mightily on your behalf. Pray for one another and watch what God will do!
Prayer for Today: “Father, thank You for another day to be used by You. I choose to pray for the people in my life as You have commanded. Direct my thoughts and prayers so that I can be a blessing to others and always honour You in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Prophetic Declaration: If you sow prayer and mercy to people’s lives, you shall receive favour from God. Praying for other people, particularly ministers of God; it’s like making regular deposits into your savings bank account. Later on, you will withdraw your money with accrued interest. The scripture in the book of Ephesians chapter 6 verse 18 (AMPC). AMPLIFIED BIBLE CLASSIC says: “Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding on behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people). Grace to pray with faith and sincerity of the purpose for people of God is released unto you. In Praying for God’s people, you shall surely receive divine favour to live victorious life in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
JESUS SAID: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 (NIV). Are you ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ? Please give your life to Jesus.
