DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM MERCYLAND MINISTRIES SATURDAY 10 JULY 2021.
Topic: Change Your Focus.
Today’s Scripture: “Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians chapter 3 verse 2, (NIV). NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION.
Message: We all have days when we don’t feel very enthusiastic. If you don’t feel like you have any reason to be excited about your life, today is the day to change your focus! It’s time to set your mind on things above. Too often, we settle for what we see in this earthly realm, but God has so much more for us in the supernatural realm. Whatever we choose to focus on is what we will see manifested in our lives. We need to daily set our focus on the goodness of God and keep hope alive.
Today is not the day to give up on your dreams; it’s the day to feed your dreams. That means instead of dragging around finding every reason you can to be unhappy, your attitude should be: “I am not going to live my life defeated and depressed. I may have some obstacles in my path, but I know I have victory in my future. I know God has great things in store for me, so I’m going to get up each day anticipating the good things He has in store for me!”
Prayer for Today: “Father, I choose to set my mind on You. I know that Your dream for me is so much bigger than my own. Draw me close to You as I daily set my focus on You. I bless You today and always. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
Prophetic Declaration: The expectation of the rapture of the Saints during the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, for any born again Christian should be the source of great joy and unlimited hope. Why? Because Christians are in this world, but not of this world. Grace not to settle for things in this earthly realm, but focus on God that has so much for you and all Christians in the supernatural realm is given to you. The reality of the promise of Jesus that says: “seek first the Kingdom of God, and all other things shall be added unto you” shall be dawn in your heart. With this glorious promise of Jesus, strength NOT TO LIVE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE in sorrow and regret is given to you. The joy of the Lord, (which is joy of salvation) shall be yours in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
JESUS SAID: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 (NIV). Are you ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ? Please give your life to Jesus.
