DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM MERCYLAND MINISTRIES THURSDAY 22 JULY 2021.
Topic: Pave the Way for Victory.
Today’s Scripture: “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” Psalm 5 verse 3, (NIV). NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION.
Message: Did you know that every morning you have the opportunity to set the tone for your whole day? When you put God first and decide to go out with a grateful attitude and a positive frame of mind, not only will you feel better, but you’re going to draw in the good things of God. You are paving the way for success and victory. But if you get up thinking, “Man, life’s a drag. Nothing good ever happens to me. It’s going to be a lousy day,” then you are going to attract defeat, failure and mediocrity.
Today, choose to set your day in the right direction. Find something to thank God for. If you have to, make a list of all the good things in your life and post it on your bathroom mirror. As you continually choose to set your mind on Him first thing in the morning, you’ll pave the way to victory and enjoy the good things He has in store for you!
Prayer for Today: “Father, thank You for the gift of today. I choose to set my mind on You. Thank You for Your goodness and mercy and for always preparing the way for victory in Jesus’ name! Amen.”
Prophetic Declaration: I wrote on “Making Preparations” yesterday. Part of making preparations for progress and plan for daily productive living is to give yourself a gift of powerful “Prophetic Declaration” every morning. When you wake up, the first thing God expects from you is to appreciate Him in your life and in the lives of others. This is what King David did all the days of his life, and he became “The Apple of God’s own Eyes”. You shall receive GRACE to daily make this pronouncements of the Psalmist in Psalm 139 verse 14 that says: “I praise you God! because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that for sure”. As you choose to set your day in the right direction, by praising your creator, by appreciating His work on you; goodness, favour and blessings in all ramifications shall be yours in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
JESUS SAID: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 (NIV). Are you ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ? Please give your life to Jesus.
