Topic: Release Your Cares and Rest.

Today’s Scripture: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew chapter 11 verse 28, (NIV). NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION.

Message: God wants to give you rest. He wants to refresh and restore your soul—your mind, will and emotions. It’s so easy to get caught up in the “busyness” of life, and before long, your mind, will and emotions are so “spun up” that you can barely think straight! But even in the hustle of life, you can find rest, ease and relaxation. God wants to take care of everything that concerns you so that you can find rest in your innermost being when you come to Him. Imagine how you would feel if someone came up to you today and said, “Give me all of your monthly bills; I’m going to pay them.” You’d get pretty excited, wouldn’t you? But it wouldn’t happen until you did your part to actually hand that person your bills. They can’t pay them for you if you never release them. In the same way, when we release our cares and concerns to God, He promises to take care of them.

Today, release your cares to the Lord. Let Him fill you with His peace and joy. Receive the rest that He promises and enjoy the fulfillment and blessing He has for you!

Prayer for Today: “Father, today I humbly come to You. I choose to cast my cares on You so that I can live in Your rest. Thank You for Your goodness to me. Help me find ways to share Your goodness with those around me today in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

Prophetic Declaration: It’s your absolute responsibility to take care of your emotional and thought life. No one will do that for you. Jesus also went through all the ups and downs of this world. He therefore gave us the warning in the book of John chapter 14 verse 27 (NKJV), and said: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”.  Grace to yield to this warning is released unto you. You shall receive ability to demolish every evil thought, remove unholy arguments, wipe off bad imagination that is not of God from your heart. Through the help of the Holy Spirit, you shall be able to take captive of every evil thought and make it obedient to Christ. You shall be able to release all your cares to God and have good rest of mind, with peace that passes all understanding, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

JESUS SAID: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 (NIV). Are you ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ? Please give your life to Jesus.
