Topic: Give Thanks!
Today’s Scripture: “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”. First Corinthians chapter 15 verse 57, (NIV). NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION.
Message: Today, take time to reflect on and give thanks to God for all of His blessings in your life. Whether you are eating turkey, drinking gari (cassava powder) with cold water, playing games with your family, watching football or visiting a friend, remember to take time to focus on God’s goodness. Count your blessings and notice all the grace, favour and love that God has given you. Psalm 95 verse 2 says: “come before His presence with thanksgiving…, shout joyfully to Him with psalms.”
No matter the circumstances in your life, give thanks and praise to God for all that He has done. Remember how good He is and that His love will endure forever. The Bible says that you show your love for God through your actions toward other people. Reach out to those around you this season and share His love and forgiveness with them. You are blessed to be a blessing to others!
Prayer for Today: God, no matter what the circumstances, I always give thanks to You for the blessings in my life. Help me find the time to serve others unconditionally and, in doing so, draw closer to You in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
Prophetic Declaration: Our last Wednesday message titled “The Sacrifice of Praise”. We were made to realise how important and compulsory it is to offer this sacrifice unto our God. If those who are now in the grave yard were given opportunity to be in your position today, they would give better praises unto God. Isaiah chapter 38 verse 19 says: “Only the living can praise you as I do today. …” Grace to appreciate the goodness of God, in making you to be alive today is given to you. Ability to show your love for God through your actions and services toward other people is released unto you in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
JESUS SAID: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 (NIV). Are you ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ? Please give your life to Jesus.
