Topic: Giving is Worship.
Today’s Scripture: “And on going into the house, they saw the Child with Mary His mother, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then opening their treasure bags, they presented to Him gifts…” Matthew chapter 2 verse 11, (AMP). AMPLIFIED BIBLE.
Message: When the wise men first saw Jesus, they were completely overwhelmed. They fell to their knees and wanted to worship Him with everything they had. Giving was an automatic response. They wanted to lavish Him with their love and gifts. They were giving because they were thankful and wanted to honour Him. Your giving also should be to honour God. When you give to God, He doesn’t want you to do it just because it’s offering time or because you feel like you have to. In fact, the Bible says, “Do not give grudgingly or under compulsion.” God wants you to give because your heart is overflowing with thankfulness. He wants you to be happy and cheerful when you give. He loves a cheerful giver!
Meditate on the faithfulness of God today. Think about what He’s done for you. Remember, He saved and redeemed you. Dwell on the fact that He is your provider. As you meditate on His goodness, your heart will overflow with thankfulness. Just like the wise men, your giving will become an automatic response to God’s goodness over your life.
Prayer for Today: “Father, I choose to meditate on Your goodness today. Thank You for loving and saving me. Thank You for redeeming my life from the pit. I give You everything that I am today in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Prophetic Declaration: As we’re approaching Christmas day, the Christian festival of giving and receiving, I need to remind you of the secret of blessing and prosperity. In the book of Acts of Apostle chapter 20 verse 35 (AMP), Apostle Paul wrote: “… remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed [and brings greater joy] to give than to receive.'” Therefore, “giving” must be a greater, more exciting, meaningful, fulfilling, significant and blessed act than “receiving. You shall receive ability to use “Key of David (JESUS CHRIST)” to unlock doors of heaven for your blessings to come through generous giving. This shall be effective means of worshiping your God, and consequently brings you multiple blessings, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
JESUS SAID: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 (NIV). Are you ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ? Please give your life to Jesus.
