Topic: Jesus Loves the Little Children.

Today’s Scripture: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew chapter 19 verse 14, (NIV). NEW International Version.

Message: On the first  Christmas day, Jesus came to this world as a baby, born in a manger at Bethlehem. He grew and passed through the stages of little boy, a teenager, and later became an adult. At age thirty, He started His earthly priesthood ministry. There’s a story in the scripture about a time when the children wanted to run to Jesus, but the adults, thinking they were helping, kept them away from Him. When Jesus saw what was going on, in the book of
Matthew chapter 19 verse 14, Jesus said: “Let them come to me!”. Jesus loves children. He says that children are the example of faith and trust that we should follow to get to heaven. Like the children, we should always run to Him. We should always trust Him. We should always find safety in His loving arms. It’s interesting that the scripture says “the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them.” This tells me that little children are always welcome in heaven, too. Those young ones who leave the earth before they are old enough to have an understanding of what it means to be saved are received with open arms. 

Today, if you aren’t sure where you would spend eternity, if this were your last day on earth, we want you to know that God loves you and made a way for you to have eternal life.

Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for Your love and grace. Today, I come to You as a little child—with faith, hope and trust. Show me Your love, show me Your grace, and show me the good plan You have for my future in Jesus’ name. Amen

Prophetic Declaration: Our Lord Jesus Christ makes things easy and simple for people to understand. He made simple illustration and said, children are the example of faith and trust that we should follow. Humility and simplicity like that of the little children, to always run to Jesus in times of any distress shall be yours. You shall have ability to always trust Him everyday of your life. Rest of mind with hope and assurance, in looking for safety in Jesus Christ’s loving arms shall be yours. Every day of your life, you shall have peace of mind, just like that of little children, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
