Topic: It is Finished.
Today’s Scripture: “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians chapter 1 verse 6, (NLT). New Living Translation.
Message: At that moment when Jesus spoke the words on the cross, “It is finished,” it certainly looked like the end. It looked as though it was over. But maybe that wasn’t just a statement of what people were seeing at Calvary at that time; it was rather a statement of faith. On the cross, Jesus was saying to His Father, “I’ve done My part. I’ve fulfilled My destiny. Now, I have total trust and confidence that You are going to finish what You started through Me.” At the very time Jesus altered the statement: “It’s Finished”, though it looked like the end, in reality, it was only the beginning. What is the message here? When it looks dark in your life, when things aren’t going your way, dare to make that declaration of faith just like Jesus, “It is finished.” What you’re really saying is, “God, I know You are going to finish what You’ve begun in my life. You are going to turn things around. I know that You are giving me the breaks that I need. I know You are giving me the promotion, the healing I asked for has been done. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!” Always remember to speak victory over your circumstances because He is faithful, and He will complete what He’s started in you.
Prayer for Today: Father in heaven, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. I thank You that You will complete what You’ve started in my life. Today I choose to put my trust and hope in You knowing that You are working behind the scenes to bring victory to every area of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!
Prophetic Declaration: In the book of Revelation chapter 22 verse 13, (NIV), the Bible made it clear that our God is “the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End”. He finishes whatever He starts in the lives of His children. Grace to be patient with God is released to you. Whatever things that you’ve committed to God’s hands, The Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, God of fulfillment and accomplishment shall give you glorious testimony on it. You shall never remain the same. So shall it be. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
