Topic: When Things Are Out of Control.

Today’s Scripture: “Good sense makes a man restrain his anger, and it is his glory to overlook a transgression or an offense.” Proverbs chapter 19 verse 11, (AMPC). AMPLIFIED CLASSIC EDITION.

Message: Every day, we have opportunities to get upset, be frustrated, or get offended. Maybe you had plans that didn’t work out, or someone was rude to you at the office. Maybe you were doing something that should have taken one hour and it ended up taking three. Life is full of inconveniences, but even though we can’t always control our circumstances, we can control our reaction. I heard somebody say, “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you respond.”  We should always go out each day with a positive attitude, full of hope and expecting God’s favour. But at the same time, we should recognize that most days are not going to go exactly as we plan. Remember, we were created to live in peace. Peace is our position of power. It’s when you have peace that you can think right and act right. If you get stressed because you got off schedule, or upset because your child wouldn’t eat his breakfast, or frustrated because somebody offended you in the office, on the road, what you’re doing is giving away your power. Instead, make the decision to release those offenses and disappointments so you can live in peace and enjoy the day as the blessing God prepared for you!

Prayer for Today: Father in heaven, today I release every care, concern, offense and disappointment to You. I choose to keep the peace that You have given me. I look forward to today knowing that You are with me, leading me in victory in Jesus’ name! Amen.

Prophetic Declaration: The scripture in Proverbs chapter 14 verse 1 (NKJV) teaches a lot of lessons. It says: “The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish pulls it down with her hands”. What you’ve struggled to build over the years will not be pulled down through unrestrained anger. Not only foolish woman that pulls her house and life down as the scripture says, whoever that permits anger, offense and disappointment to linger in his or her heart is not wise, and is obviously destroying his or her own life. When things are out of control, GRACE to be looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith is released to you. As you look unto Him, every disappointment shall turn to new appointment, new breakthrough and glorious accomplishments. So shall it be in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

JESUS SAID: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 (NIV). Are you ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ? Please give your life to Jesus.
