Topic: Choose Your Relationships with Care.
Today’s Scripture: “He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed.” Proverbs chapter 13 verse 20, (NKJV). New King James Version.
Message: The quality of life is often determined by the quality of our relationships. Show me your pastor, your best friend or partner, I will tell you who you’re and who you will become in future. Do you know that you will become like the people you associate with? If you constantly spend your time around lazy and undisciplined people, then before long, you’re going to be lazy and undisciplined. But on the other hand, if you associate with disciplined and successful people, then you’re going to be successful. If you spend your time with people of vision who are going places in life, you will be inspired to go further than you would on your own. Take time to examine your friends, ask yourself, do I want to be like this person? Do I like their qualities and characters? Do they inspire me to reach for new heights? As you choose to be around wise people, you will become wise and walk in the abundant life God has for you!
Prayer for Today: God, I will choose my friends wisely. Open my eyes to the changes I need to make and give me the courage to distance myself from people that are dragging me down. Thank you for blessing me with wonderful Christian friends. Help me to be a blessing to them this day. In Jesus’ name – Amen.
Prophetic Declaration: You shall receive GRACE to heed Apostle Paul’s warning in First Corinthians chapter 5 verse 11 that says: ” …. you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people”. In Proverbs chapter 13 verse 20, King Solomon said: ” He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed”. You shall receive wisdom to cut off from destiny destroyers, bad friends, messengers of the devil that relates with you as a friend or as a pastor, . From today, Holy Spirit will connect you with the right people, that will be your destiny helper. So shall it be in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
