Topic: Choose Joy.
Today’s Scripture: “You will eat the fruit of your labour; blessings and prosperity will be yours.” Psalms 128 verse 2, (NIV). New International Version.
Message: Did you know that having a life full of joy and fulfil
ment is a matter of choice? Many decades ago, Joe Biden determined, and he made a choice of relentlessly pursuing the ambition of becoming USA president. He eventually got it. That’s perseverance in action. Go for perseverance. Go for stubborn optimism. Many people are not living in victory today because they have walked around with a chip on their shoulder. They’re nursing ingrained feeling of resentment with sense of inferiority. They are constantly complaining, always dwelling on what they don’t have. They’re focusing on their problems, when God expects them to focus on praising Him. Let me encourage you to stay out of that trap. Wake up every morning and begin each new day by counting your blessings. Begin to thank Him for what He has already done for you and for all that He has in store for your future. As you begin to express your appreciation and praise to the Lord, you will begin to see Him pour out His blessings and favour in greater portions, and you’ll experience abundant life He has in store for you.
Prayer for Today: God, I am making the decision today to be a grateful person! You have richly blessed me and I am going to count those blessings everyday. When I make a daily list of 10, it will be in honour of You. In Jesus’ name – Amen.
Prophetic Declaration: We are all blessed, but the problem is that some of us count their blessings while others count their struggles, challenges and obstacles.” Stop counting your problems. Grace to start counting your blessings is given to you. Your lacks shall no longer blindfold you from seeing how blessed you are. As you give God all the glory, honour, praises and adoration for all He has done and all He will do, you shall eat the fruit of your labour. Blessings and prosperity shall be yours, and joy of the Lord shall continue to be your strength. So shall it be in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
