Topic: It’s Time for an Attitude Adjustment.
Today’s Scripture: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians chapter 4 verse 6, (NLT). New Living Translation.
Message: Many people ask us, “Why am I not receiving God’s best? My boss is mean, my house is old, and my spouse doesn’t treat me right. It doesn’t seem like my prayers are ever answered!” When people ask us that, we usually encourage them to look at what they just said. Perhaps the answer lies in your attitude to gratitude. How grateful are you to the Lord? Have you ever considered that “the diminishing returns” you’re experiencing maybe as a result of your bad attitude of being ungrateful to the Lord? It maybe God is waiting for you to be thankful for what you have before He will bless you with more? The message of today instructs us to pray with thanksgiving in every circumstance. Develop good “attitude for gratitude” and see what God will begin to do. He will take you places you’ve never dreamed, and you’ll live the abundant life He has in store for you.
Prayer for Today: Thank you, God, for the blessings you have given me. I can sit here and think of so many ways you have enriched my life. Always give me an “attitude of being grateful.” In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prophetic Declaration: One of the funny things about life is, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack. Big gratitude unto the Lord carries you to high altitude in life. I therefore decree and declare, you shall receive GRACE of well expressed GRATITUDE to the Lord that will impact you good ATTITUDE. Your good ATTITUDE shall take you to high ALTITUDE, a glorious destination, where worries and anxiety cannot reach. There, you shall live the rest of your life with joy and fulfillment. So shall it be in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
