Topic: Wonderful Counsellor.
Today’s Scripture: “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace.” Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6, (AMP). AMPLIFIED BIBLE EDITION.
Message: What do you need today? Do you need guidance or counsel about a particular situation? When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, the Counsellor comes to live inside of you by the Holy Spirit. Notice, He’s not just any kind of counsellor; He is the Wonderful Counsellor. He is full of wonder and amazement. He’s extraordinary. He’s the very best counsellor you could have—He knows all things! Do you need counsel today regarding your job? Do you need counsel regarding your relationships or an important decision? Do you need a counsellor to act as your defender today? Call on the Wonderful Counsellor. Open your heart and let Him show you His wisdom. Receive His truth from the Word of God. Receive His counsel from the godly people in your life. As you seek the Wonderful Counsellor with an open heart, He promises to lead and guide you and show you the path toward victory!
Prayer for Today: “Father, thank You for Your Spirit that lives inside of me. Thank You for the Wonderful Counsellor that guides and protects me. I choose Your ways today. Speak to my heart so that I can honour You and follow Your leading all the days of my life in Jesus’ name! Amen.”
Prophetic Declaration: The names we have in our today’s Scripture are just few out of numerous names of Jesus in the Bible. Each name represents who Jesus is and what He does inside of you. Jesus with His government upon His shoulder, when He’s resident in you, His government shall preserve order and give you ability to enjoy peaceful and quiet life. Wonderful Counsellor, (SAVIOUR) shall from today teach you, turn your situation around, radiate His glory in you and through you. The Prince of Peace shall reign and bring peace into your life. No more sorrow and no confusion. No calamity shall be able to move near you. So shall it be in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
