Topic: Make Peace a Priority.
Today’s Scripture: “For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice”. James chapter 3 verse 16, (NIV). New International Version.
Message: Strife is a powerfully destructive force that the enemy uses to try to bring confusion and turmoil into our lives. It can tear apart marriages, destroy businesses, and divide lifelong friends. We all have things that happen on a daily basis that can aggravate us, but the key is not to let those aggravations make us act rude or angry toward those around us. Instead, let me encourage you to make peace a priority in your life. Don’t give the enemy a foothold. Refuse to argue. Refuse to be sarcastic or disrespectful. Decide that you are going to keep peace in your home and your life even if it means you have to swallow your pride. Make the choice to aggressively pursue peace. Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” You can be that person. You can be the one to create an atmosphere of peace and harmony in your family.
Prayer for Today: I will make the choice not to be rude or impatient with my friends, family and co-workers today. These are the people I care about and I pray your blessings on them. Peace is my priority! In Jesus’ name – Amen.
Prophetic Declaration: Second Corinthians chapter three verse two says: “You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men”. You shall receive grace to be letter of Christ that people read and get saved. Divine meekness that will enable you to moderate your expectations of others, and find joy as evidences of God’s grace shall be yours. When you remember how much you have been forgiven by God, humility to forgive others freely shall be yours. Wisdom to take time before you form judgments on other people is given to you. Christ-like attitude shall no longer be difficult for you in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
