Topic: Wonderful Counsellor.
Today’s Scripture: “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace.” Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6, (AMP). Amplified Bible Edition.
Message: Today’s Bible verse is not only for Christmas time. It should be everyday scripture for your life. What do you need today? Do you need guidance or counsel about a particular situation? When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, the Counselor comes to live inside of you by the Holy Spirit. Notice, He’s not just any kind of counsellor; He is the Wonderful Counselor. He is full of wonder and amazement. He’s extraordinary. He’s the very best counselor you could have—He knows all things! Do you need counsel today regarding your job? Do you need counsel regarding your relationships or an important decision? Do you need a counsellor to act as your defender today? Call on the Wonderful Counsellor. Open your heart and let Him show you His wisdom. Receive His truth from the Word of God. Receive His counsel from the godly people in your life. As you seek the Wonderful Counsellor with an open heart, He promises to lead and guide you and show you the path toward victory!
Prayer for Today: “Father, thank You for Your Spirit that lives inside of me. Thank You for the Wonderful Counsellor that guides and protects me. I choose Your ways today. Speak to my heart so that I can honour You and follow Your leading all the days of my life in Jesus’ name! Amen.”
Prophetic Declaration: I decree and declare, from today, Holy Spirit divine (wonderful counsellor) shall lead, direct and protect you everyday of your life in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
