Topic: A Brand New Future.
Today’s Scripture: “Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; today I declare that I will restore to you double. “Zechariah chapter 9 verse 12, (ESV). English Standard Version.
Message: To be a prisoner of hope means that you can’t get away from it. You’re held by hope. A prisoner of hope is someone who has an attitude of faith and expectancy even when things are bad because God has promised to restore what was lost . . . and far more. That’s a great word of hope you can hold on to! It means your health, your job situation, and your finances may not be what you want them to be today, but they are all subject to change! God wants to restore these things to you—not just the way they were before—but with more so that you are better off than when you began. No matter where you are today or what happened to you yesterday, God wants to give you a new future filled with joy, fulfilment and abundance.
Prayer for Today: God, please give me the courage and faith to hold onto Your hope no matter what may come my way today. I claim Your promise of restoration in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prophetic Declaration: If you let your circumstances define the way you see God, you are a prisoner of perspective. Or worse, a prisoner of your past mistakes! But if you let God define the way you see your circumstances, you are a prisoner of hope. You shall receive grace to become true Prisoner of Hope, a person that remains hopeful in spite of circumstances that seem hopeless. I decree and declare, occupying this gracious and glorious position shall liberate you from imprisonment of sin, imprisonment of worries, anxiety, addiction and other horrible imprisonment of this world. Happy, fulfilled life, and brand new future shall be your portion in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
