Topic: Take Time to Reflect.
Today’s Scripture: “…he leads me beside quiet waters. Psalm 23 verse 2, (NIV). New International Version.
Message: If you’ve ever said to yourself, “I don’t even have time to think,” then you know how hard it is to concentrate when you’re being bombarded with noise from all sides. It can be even harder to hold on to peace when we don’t make time to read God’s Word, (The Holy Bible). God doesn’t often shout to get our attention. Instead, the Bible in First Kings chapter 19 verse 12 says He speaks in “a still, small voice”. It means we need to listen closely and carefully. What can you do to put yourself in a position to hear God’s voice? The key is to make time every day away from the busyness and distractions. Find a room in your house, outside under the trees, or some other place where you can be still for a few minutes each day to spend time with Him. As you spend time with Him, He will renew your spirit and restore your peace.
Prayer for Today: God, I want to find those quiet waters of peace where I can get alone with You every day and meditate on You. Thank You for wanting to speak to my heart and show me Your will. I pray In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Prophetic Declaration: God loves people that are yearning to have personal and genuine relationship with Him. Ability to demonstrate this by creating a period of time in a quiet place, to daily talk to Him, and also listen to Him shall be yours. As you take time to reflect upon God and His word daily in this manner, His goodness, loving-kindness and mercy shall not depart from your life in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
