Topic: Wonderful Counsellor.
Today’s Scripture: “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace.” Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6, (AMP). Amplified Bible Edition.
Message: Today’s message is a continuation of that of yesterday: “The Lord is With You”. When the Lord is with you, whatever you need in life comes to you easily. What do you need today? Do you need guidance or counsel about a particular situation? When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, the Counsellor comes to live inside of you by the Holy Spirit. Notice, He’s not just any kind of counsellor; He is the Wonderful Counsellor. He is full of wonder and amazement. He’s extraordinary. He’s the very best counsellor you could have—He knows all things! Do you need counsel today regarding your job? Do you need counsel regarding your relationships or an important decision? Do you need a counselor to act as your defender today? Call on the Wonderful Counselor. Open your heart and let Him show you His wisdom. Receive His truth from the Word of God. Receive His counsel from the godly people in your life.
Prayer for Today: “Father, thank You for Your Spirit that lives inside of me. Thank You for the Wonderful Counsellor that guides and protects me. I choose Your ways today. Speak to my heart so that I can honour You and follow Your leading all the days of my life in Jesus’ name! Amen.”
Prophetic Declaration: In your Christian journey of life, Wonderful Counsellor shall continue to lead, direct and guide you. No more confusion. No more derailment. As you seek the Wonderful Counselor with an open heart, He will continue to show you the path toward victory. You will no longer suffer diminishing returns in your business and other areas of your life. So shall it be in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
