Topic: Shout of Triumph.

Today’s Scripture: “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost”. John chapter 19 verse 30, (KJV). King James Version.

Message: On the first Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified, during a moment of excruciating pain, He shouted in agony and in victory: “It is finished!”. He had freed himself and had the chance to redeem and save those that believe in Him. Those who witnessed the crucifixion of Jesus saw His hours of agony and heard Him cry out in a loud voice, “It is finished!” When He gave up His spirit. His final words from the cross were not a cry of painful defeat but a shout of triumph, because He had accomplished all that the Father sent Him to do. When Jesus died, He shared in what all of us must experience. But far beyond that, He did what none of us can do. He paid the price for our sins that we might be forgiven and have eternal life through faith in Him.

Prayer for Today: Father Lord, “It is finished!” was your shout of victory. Let the victory you’ve given at Calvary become my everyday life experience. Through your sacrificial death at Calvary, give me power to escape the power of sin, and live victorious life, all the days of my life in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Prophetic Declaration: Because of Jesus’ sacrifice for us, we call the day of His death “Good Friday”. Power and victory that’s being derived from His death and resurrection shall for ever be yours in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

JESUS SAID: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 (NIV). Are you ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ? Please give your life to Jesus.
