Topic: Reign in Life.
Today’s Scripture: “For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favour) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).” Romans chapter 5 verse 17, (AMPC). Amplified Classic Edition.
Message: I so much like the way the Amplified Classic Edition of the Bible puts today’s scripture. It says: “We are to reign in life as kings.” When God looks at us, He doesn’t see us in weak, defeated, leftover positions. Not at all. God sees you and me as kings, rulers, as royalty. We have His royal blood flowing through our veins. You and I are supposed to reign. Do you know what that word “reign” means? It means “your time in power.” God said we’re to reign “in life.” That means as long as you’re alive, that is your time in power. You don’t have a two-year term like the Mayor of a city or a four-year term like the President of a nation. Your term is to rule and reign every single day for life, to be victorious, to rise to new levels, to accomplish great things. Of course everyone has days when they don’t feel like royalty, they don’t feel powerful. On those days, if you can just remember to reach down and check your pulse, and as long as you feel something beating, you can say,” It’s still my time to reign!” Let that be a reminder to put on a new attitude. Press through and continue trusting the Lord.
Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, I choose right now to set my mind and focus on You. I choose to look for what You want to do in and through me. I let go of any wrong thinking, attitudes, or actions that would hold me back. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Prophetic Declaration: Spiritual tenacity to put on living faith is released to you today. Ability to walk like a king by faith, talk like a king, think like a king, dress like a king, smile like a king is given to you. Power not to go by what you see, but go by what you know in the scripture is released unto you. More than ever before, that powerful royalty of Jesus in your DNA shall begin to manifest. You have the blood of a champion that was given to you at Calvary. Inside of you, DNA of Jesus Christ shall continue to manifest everyday of your life. You shall not be a looser, but a winner in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
