Today’s Scripture: “A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.” Proverbs chapter 14 verse 30, (NIV). New International Version.
Message: It’s so easy to let the pressures and distractions of life pull our thoughts away from the Father. It doesn’t take long before we are so focused on earthly things that we feel overwhelmed and all stressed out. But, we weren’t meant to live anxious about life; we were meant to live in peace. That’s why our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in John chapter 14 verse 27 gave a strong warning shortly before He went to Calvary. The Amplified Bible Edition beautifully puts it this way: “Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.] Did you know the best thing you can do to enjoy good health is to set your heart at peace with God? Peace isn’t just a feeling, it’s a powerful position. Peace literally means “to set at one again.” “Set at one again” is an expression that means to join or bind together again what was separated or divided. In this sense, PEACE then simply means “join or bind together again with God”. In other words, we can be settled in our minds and hearts when we join or bind ourselves together with the Word, and are in alignment with the Word of God. Peace is a position of life, strength and confidence!
Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word which is life to my soul. I praise You because You are the Prince of Peace, and You give peace to my heart and mind. I choose to stay focused on You today. Thank You for guiding my every step in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Prophetic Declaration: From today, the ability to choose to keep your heart at peace by staying focused on God the Father is released to you. Enabling power to give life to your body by staying in alignment and in agreement with God’s Word shall be yours. You shall receive strong determination to let God’s peace guard your heart, so that you can be equipped, and allow the abundant life He has promised to be your portion. So shall it be in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
