Topic: The New Has Come.
Today’s Scripture: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” Second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17, (ESV). English Standard Version.
Message: The Year 2024 has gone, and it has gone forever! You’re now in the new year that comes with good new things. As a believer in Jesus, you are a new creation. You have a new spirit and a new life. There may be “old” things in your life that you are trying to get rid of. Maybe you have old habits or addictions that you want to change. Remember that the new has come today! It’s a new year with new opportunities, and it’s time for you to be the “new you!”. Let this be the year that you break old habits and addictions. Let this be the year that you move forward into a new life of victory. Let this be the year that you take hold of all the spiritual blessings the Lord has promised—peace, good health, protection and victory. Be encouraged today because no matter what is happening in your life right now, you have a chance for a new victorious beginning. Your chance for a new beginning is on the fact that as year 2024 with all its atrocities rolled to an end, your life didn’t roll with it to an end. Praise God! You therefore need to leave the old behind—leave behind old behaviours, old thinking, old words, and old mindsets and embrace the new by faith. Trust that He is leading and directing you this year to greater heights and achievements. Go ahead to declare His Word and embrace the blessings that He has prepared for you in the new year 2025!
Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for making me new in the new year. Help me to understand Your plan for me so that I can fully embrace Your promises. I choose today to leave behind the old life and receive Your strength and power for a victorious New Year! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Prophetic Declaration: As I welcome you to year 2025. It shall be your year of unprecedented favour. It shall be year of fulfilment and year of victorious new beginning for you. The Bible in the book of Revelation chapter 21 verse 5 (NLT) New Living Translation Edition says: “And the one sitting on the throne said:, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.” I decree and declare, you shall receive abundant grace in this new year to trust, believe and accept the promises of God. Spiritual capacity to appropriately act on the prophecy of today is released to you. The Lord shall fill your mouth with testimonies this new year in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
