Bishop & Bishop Mrs. Anike & Bayo Yusuff – Mercyland General Overseer and Founder

Topic: Stay in Sync.

Today’s Scripture: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD determines their steps.” Proverbs chapter 16 verse 9, (NIV). New International Version.

Message: Have you ever tried something and got the results you wanted and then tried the same thing again and got different results? This happened to Moses in the Bible. They needed water and God told Moses to strike the rock. He struck the rock and water flowed out freely. Another time they needed water again, and God told Moses, “Speak to the rock.” Do you know what Moses did? He went over and struck the rock. He thought, “Hey, it worked last time. It’ll work this time.” Unfortunately, it didn’t work for Moses. Although water came out of the rock for the people to drink, but God was however displeased with Moses’ disobedience in striking the rock, instead of speaking to it as God instructed. God had a different plan when He told Moses to speak to the rock. The lesson here is that, we have to stay open and make adjustments to stay in tune with God’s plan. You can do the same thing the same way you did last time and get different results. It may not be something major, but like Moses, maybe it’s just something small. Sometimes a small tweak, a small adjustment can make a major difference in the outcome. That was the reason why Moses couldn’t reach promised land. Today, make sure you aren’t doing things just because it’s the way you always did it before. Instead, listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit of God inside. Follow His leading and stay in sync with the wonderful plan He has for you!

Prayer for Today: Heavenly Father, I submit my mind, will and heart to You. Help me to see clearly what Your plan is for me. Help me to stay close to You always, not living in the past, but pressing forward to the new things You have in store for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prophetic Declaration: Our God is called unchangeable changer. He has many ways of doing one thing. Most of the time, we make mistakes of assumption with God, just as Moses did, and it has devastating effects. In dealing with God, ability not to work on assumptions, not to depend on your head knowledge, but completely rely on the leading of the Holy Spirit shall be yours. From today, following God’s leading, and stay in sync with His good plan for your life shall no longer be difficult for you, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

JESUS SAID: “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. Revelation chapter 22 verse 12 (NIV). Are you ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ? Please give your life to Jesus.
