DAILY DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE FROM MERCYLAND MINISTRIES THURSDAY 04 MARCH 2021
Topic: You Haven’t Seen Anything Yet!
Today’s Scripture: But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” First Corinthians chapter 2 verse 9, (NKJV) New King James Version.
Message: Today’s verse is really an encouragement for all of us to raise our level of expectancy! It’s like God is saying to us, “You think you’re blessed? You haven’t seen anything yet!” And I’m sure God has been good to you, but He also has things for your future that, if He told you right now, would boggle your mind. You wouldn’t even believe it. If you would have told me twelve years ago that ministry doors would open for me in Portugal, rest of Europe, America and Middle East, I would have said, “You’ve totally lost your mind!”. But this didn’t happen until change of season occurred. Unpleasant season came with an encounter with the armed robbers in Nigeria in December 2012. I was shot and considered being killed and wasted. God returned my life back to me after six hours in the operation theater room of the university teaching hospital, Lagos Nigeria. Shortly after, opened doors came, material and spiritual blessings followed and my life never remained the same. I wrote in yesterday’s message that if you’re in God and God is in you, your problems would always turn to promotion. Most successful people in the Bible and till today would need to pass through trials to become triumphant. You need to pass through tests to have testimonies. For a reason best known to God, friend, that is how He (God) chooses to bless His people and prepare them for better and greater future. He wants to overwhelm you with His goodness and with things so wonderful you can’t even fathom it! But you need to pass through some seasons in order to get to your success.
Hold unto God and trust Him, the season you’re passing through has expiry date. Today, get ready for an increase. Better tomorrow is on your way. Get prepared for promotion. This year is the year to step into blessings you can’t even imagine. Keep believing, keep obeying His Word and keep your heart and mind open to what He has for you because you haven’t seen anything yet!
Prayer for Today: Father God, today I raise my level of expectancy. I choose to take the limits off of my thinking. I know that You are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all I could ever ask, think or imagine. Thank You for the blessing You have in store for me in 2011! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Prophetic Declaration: Don’t give up! God is closer to you than you could imagine. Grace not to surrender to failure is released unto you. You shall receive ability to keep trusting God in any season, in any situation you find yourself in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
